Damian started riding at the age of 8, as a off road rider on a Honda ATC70, later he progressed to some off road riding on Simpson 50cc motorcycles; However the passion for motorcycles wayned from the age of 15 until 27.

In 2003 a good friend of Damian's, Mike Macdermot, talked with so much enthusiasm for bikes, Damian decided to ride again and got his Class 'A' road licence in December 2003.

From there it was a case of being a pastime, riding on the weekends and enjoying every spare time on motorcycles, with Mike acting as his mentor. Unfortunately in 2006 Mike was tragically killed in an RTA, after this Damain's love for biking and everything that surrounds it has grown even stronger.

In 2007 Damian thought he would prepare for club racing for a year and managed to get 13 UK track days in and 2 in france at a superb technical track Val De Vienne.

So 2008 arrives and Damian acquires his ACU licence with 1 day to go before the season, his club racing career has offically started!
